When the Ambrosial Arbor awakens, its colossal roots spread uncontrollably through the structural seams of the Luofu. The Artisanship Commission—the industrial heart where weapons, ingenia, and sacred machinery are invented—suffers catastrophic structural damage.
Arriving at the entrance, the Trailblazers find fleeing apprentices led by Awei. The youth explains that a terrifying botanical phenomenon breached the delve, rapidly crushing assembly lines with branches as thick as starships. Amidst the chaos, the chief smelting artisan, Master Gongshu, rushed back into the disaster zone shouting that the Creation Furnace was in mortal danger. Entrusted with Gongshu’s jade seal, the Nameless enter the restricted grounds.
2. Master Gongshu & The Entranced Ingenia
Inside the foggy facility, the Trailblazers are ambushed by customized combat robots (Entranced Ingenium: Obedient Dracolion, Golden Cloud Toad, and Illumination Dragonfish). The controller is none other than Master Gongshu himself, who mistakes the Nameless for looters or saboteurs.
Once Welt clarifies their diplomatic mission on behalf of General Jing Yuan, Gongshu breaks down in lamentation for his damaged mechanical creations. - In ancient antiquity, as the Xianzhou fleet sailed into the uncharted cosmos, it encountered primordial energy parasites known as heliobi.
- Possessing neither physical form nor flesh, heliobi feed upon mortal desires and sensory emotions, possessing living hosts, stripping away free will, and driving civilizations into frenzied bloodshed.
- After devastating wars, the ancestors of the Xianzhou successfully trapped and sealed the heliobi within a massive containment smelter: the Creation Furnace. For centuries, eternal subterranean flames have burned within the furnace to exhaust the heliobi’s spiritual energy. If the Arbor’s roots crack open the furnace, the primordial demons will be unleashed across the Luofu once again.
4. The Abundant Ebon Deer: Guardian of the Arbor
Reaching the central furnace platform, the Trailblazers confront the abomination birthed by the Arbor: the Abundant Ebon Deer.
A towering chimera with wood-plated armor, glowing amber hooves, and entwined antlers of budding life, the beast embodies the untamed power of The Abundance (Yaoshi). Regrouping, Welt and Master Gongshu deduce that the deer is not inherently invincible; it acts as a biological siphon channeling raw vitality from external root coils connected to the furnace.
