Arriving at the desolate port of Cloudford, the Trailblazers encounter wounded Cloud Knights and the horrifying phenomenon of the Mara-Struck. 1. Whispers from the Shackling Prison & Dan Heng’s Nightmare

Aboard the Xianzhou Luofu, deep inside the subterranean Shackling Prison, General Jing Yuan and his young retainer Yanqing interrogate the captured Stellaron Hunter Blade. Chained in darkness, Blade mutters a cryptic, chilling prophecy: “Of five people, three must pay a price. You are not one of them, Jing Yuan.” Simultaneously aboard the Astral Express, Dan Heng is jolted from a terrifying nightmare where Blade speaks directly to him: “Of five people, three must pay a price. You… are one of them.”

2. Kafka’s Interruption & The Democratic Vote

As Conductor Pom-Pom convenes the navigation meeting in the Parlor Car to announce their next scheduled warp to Penacony, a holographic projection of Kafka suddenly hijacks the communications array. Kafka reveals that a Stellaron burst occurred on the Xianzhou Luofu 45 system hours ago, and Blade was captured by the Cloud Knights. Warning that half of the ship’s massive population will perish if the Nameless do not intervene, she provides warp coordinates and vanishes.

A democratic vote is called. Dan Heng confesses that he is legally barred from ever setting foot on the Luofu under penalty of permanent interception, voting against the detour. However, the rest of the crew—March 7th, the Trailblazer, Himeko, and Welt—vote to alter course to save innocent lives. Welt Yang decides to step onto the frontlines alongside the Trailblazer and March 7th, while Dan Heng remains behind to safeguard the Express.

3. Arrival at Cloudford & The Mara-Struck Terror

Upon executing the warp jump, the Express finds the Luofu’s port of Cloudford in complete lockdown. Strangely, the massive Jade Gate opens automatically without ground control. Disembarking, the trio discovers a scene of violent carnage: bloodied Cloud Knights lie collapsed across the quays, and bizarre tree-like growths sprout from fallen bodies. For the first time, the Nameless confront the Mara-Struck—warriors of the long-life species who have lost their sanity, overtaken by physical mutation and eternal bloodlust.

4. Rescuing Tingyun & The Journey to Starskiff Haven

Advancing through the cargo docks, the crew rescues a Foxian merchant guild envoy named Tingyun, Amicassador of the Sky-Faring Commission, who is cornered alongside surviving Cloud Knights by Mara-Struck warriors and elite abominations of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus. Grateful yet cautious, Tingyun navigates the automated container cranes in the Trove of Verdure to clear a path to an evacuation dock.

Boarding Tingyun’s starskiff, the group flies through the soaring clouds and jade architecture into Central Starskiff Haven, the administrative and commercial heart of the port. Before escorting the crew to the towering Palace of Astrum for an audience with Helm Master Yukong, Tingyun discreetly messages the Trailblazer, cautioning them that the authorities are deeply paranoid: throughout history, outsiders arriving during crises have almost always been ruthless Elixir Seekers pursuing the secret of immortality, or power-hungry factions seeking to weaponize the Stellaron.
