Synopsis & Key Lore
1. Reopening of the Cable Car & Return to the Surface
In Boulder Town, Natasha and Oleg gather the townspeople at the cable car station to prepare for the reopening of the Underworld after ten long years of isolation. For the adults, returning to the surface means reclaiming a lost sense of normality; for the children who grew up beneath the stone, it marks their first glimpse of an open world. After a lighthearted exchange with the cable car operator, the lift ascends, carrying the first wave of Underworlders into the light. Reaching the Administrative District, Pitch-Dark Hook the Great gasps in wonder at what she mistakes for a “big blue ceiling”—which Natasha gently explains is the sky. Across the plaza, long-divided families are reunited in tears of joy.
2. Reconciliation with Gepard
At the foot of the stairs, Captain Gepard Landau greets the crew warmly, addressing them officially as “Trailblazers.” He offers a sincere apology for the clash in the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone, acknowledging Serval’s superior judgment and thanking them for liberating Belobog. He then delivers Lady Bronya’s urgent invitation to attend her inaugural address at the Everwinter Monument.
3. Bronya’s Inaugural Address at the Everwinter Monument
Before a massive assembly of Overworlders and Underworlders, Bronya steps forward to deliver her historic address. Honoring the agreed-upon Noble Lie, Bronya tells the populace that Supreme Guardian Cocolia sacrificed her life in the frozen north fighting to seal the Stellaron, and that in her final moments, Cocolia expressed profound remorse for ordering the Underworld quarantine. Refusing to demand unearned forgiveness from the Underworlders, Bronya passionately calls for mutual solidarity to rebuild Belobog. She pays a glowing tribute to the Nameless of the Astral Express, noting that they taught the people of Belobog to look up from the ground and gaze toward the stars. Taking her solemn oath as the Nineteenth Supreme Guardian, Bronya is met with thunderous cheers.
4. Solemn Pact in Qlipoth Fort
Following the ceremony, the Trailblazers meet Bronya privately inside Qlipoth Fort. Bronya explains that Seele attended the ceremony from within the crowd, safeguarding her from the shadows. Dan Heng and the Trailblazer share Welt Yang’s scientific reality: the 700-year Eternal Freeze and rooted Fragmentum will not vanish immediately, and the recovery of Jarilo-VI will take generations of perseverance. Bronya embraces the challenge without flinching, vowing that the people of Belobog will hold out with hope until the day the Astral Express returns.
5. Parting Memories & Farewell to Belobog
Outside Qlipoth Fort, March 7th and Dan Heng playfully rate their first trailblazing expedition, agreeing that the bond forged with Belobog is unforgettable. Inside the fort, Seele shares a warm goodbye with the Trailblazer, affirming that their paths will inevitably cross again among the stars.

1. Reopening of the Underworld (Boulder Town Cable Car)
(Meeting Natasha near the cable car station in Boulder Town)
- Natasha: You made it… I thought you were about to miss out on a moment of history.
- March 7th: No way! After all our hard work, how could we miss out on the final celebration? Right, [Trailblazer]?
- [Trailblazer] I’ll go sit at the children’s table.
- Natasha: Haha, I don’t know how much of a celebration we’ll be having… but I know Hook and Clara will be pleased to sit with you.
- [Trailblazer] The smell of freedom’s in the air…
- Natasha: Hehe, I smell it too.
- Natasha: For Oleg and I, not to mention the other adults, reopening the passageway means rediscovering old ways of living — a return to “normality…” Survival is no longer the top of the agenda…
- Natasha: But for the children who were born into this era, who grew up in this isolation… this will be a new life altogether.
- Natasha: …Once you’ve tasted freedom, it’s difficult to accept a life of separation and isolation. Those of us whose childhoods were marred by tragedy… we must strive to do better for the next generation.
- Natasha: I’m sorry, here I am talking your ear off again. This is a day to remember. We should welcome it with smiles.
- Natasha: If you have time, talk to the folks here — every one of them will tell you about their excitement. Then, when you’re ready… let’s “go home.”
(Conversations around the station, optional)
- Expectant Gentleman: It’s been more than ten years. I can finally see my little girl again… She must have graduated by now. I hope she found a good job — government administration or legal consulting, perhaps… Please, Amber Lord, anything but those terrible magazine publishers! She’s always liked to read those pointless things…
- Alina: Mommy, what do children in the Overworld dress like?
- Dunya: Mommy doesn’t know either, sweety — the Overworld is different from here. Their fashion is always changing, I don’t know what’s popular these days…
- Alina: Then… will other children laugh at me when we go up?
- Dunya: Don’t be silly, that won’t happen — mommy’s gonna buy you some pretty new clothes as soon as we’re on the surface.
- Alina: …Deal! Thanks, mommy.
- Joshua: The Guards… they m—moved so q—quickly… don’t you think it’s a little f—fishy?
- Elaine: I… I think it’s hard to believe, but I’ve met that young lady Bronya. We didn’t talk much, but she felt trustworthy to me.
- Fidora: Those three outsiders are on good terms with her. They saved lots of people at the mines… If they believe the Guards, then there’s no reason for us not to.
(Talking to the Cable Car Operator)
- Cable Car Operator: Finally… Finally I can get back to supervising the cable cars! I thought I’d spend the rest of my life in those mines…
- Cable Car Operator: Ah, it’s you! The liberators of the Underworld! You’re the first passengers we’ve had since being sealed off — it’ll be my honor to get you to the surface in one piece!
- [Trailblazer] Do you have a license?
- Cable Car Operator: Oh, uh, I’m afraid you might have to make an exception. My license has expired, but then I haven’t had the chance to go up and renew it for 10 years now…
- [Trailblazer] Does this thing have a good safety record?
- Cable Car Operator: Relax, relax! In all my 20 years on the job, there were only ever, uh… Anyway, none of them were serious!
- Cable Car Operator: cough So! Ready to climb aboard?
- [Trailblazer] Time to take the kids out for some fresh air.
- Cable Car Operator: Brothers, sisters, ladies, gentlemen, boys, and girls of all ages — gather round! The cable car passenger service is about to restart!
2. Ascending to the Overworld
(The cable car ascends through the shaft, emerging onto the surface)
- Hook: Whoaaaa…! Look at the big blue ceiling!
- Natasha: That’s not a ceiling, Hook… that’s the sky.
- Clara: So this is… the Overworld? The air here smells… different.
- Oleg: Hahaha, less rust and Geomarrow particles floating around. Take a deep breath, children — this is what freedom tastes like.
- Oleg: …I never thought I’d live to see the Administrative District again. All those years… We’ve been through a lot, Natasha.
- Natasha: …You’re right, Oleg.
- Natasha: It’s funny… The moment I boarded the cable car, my mind was filled with everything I wanted to do on the surface…
- Natasha: But now… I just want to sit down, zone out, and watch the people coming and going… and let the day just pass me by…
- Oleg: Enjoy the peace and quiet, Natasha. We earned it.
(A family reunion nearby)
- Expectant Gentleman: Sasha! My Sasha, is that you?
- Tearful Woman: Dad! — by the Amber Lord, I thought I was never going to see you again!
- Expectant Gentleman: Praise the Preservation, my child. Praise THEIR leniency… And who’s this little one?
- Tearful Woman: Here, Barry… say hello to grandpa!
- Innocent Child: …Hello grandpa!
- Expectant Gentleman: My grandson… Is this my grandson? sob
- Tearful Woman: Sorry Dad, I wanted to introduce you to my husband too, but he can’t get away from the publisher today.
- Expectant Gentleman: That’s okay, my child, we’ve got all the time in the… did you say “publisher”?
3. Meeting Captain Gepard Landau
(Approaching Gepard at the base of the stairs)
- March 7th: Ah, it’s Gepard! Is he here to meet us?
- Dan Heng: He’s still on duty. Huh, he must have recovered quickly.
- March 7th: Let’s go say hi.
- Gepard: Welcome back to the Administrative District, Trailblazers.
- March 7th: Trailblazers… first time anyone’s called us that on this planet!
- Gepard: The Architects think it’s only right that we should address you properly. “Outsiders” is hardly fitting anymore.
- Gepard: …Please allow me to apologize again for what happened in the restricted zone. You were only trying to help… I should’ve trusted Serval’s judgment.
- [Trailblazer] You were just doing your job.
- Gepard: Thanks for understanding.
- [Trailblazer] Your sister knows what’s up…
- Gepard: I’ll keep that in mind, thanks.
- [Trailblazer] Ha! Didn’t expect to get wrecked, huh?
- Gepard: You are excellent fighters. I’d love to have you provide training for the Guards, but I know you have places to be.
- Gepard: Lady Bronya’s inaugural address will begin soon. She asked me to pass on her invitation to you.
- March 7th: Huh? That’s sooner than I expected. Is she well enough to…
- Gepard: Not really… But Lady Bronya insisted on delivering the speech as soon as possible. She wants the people to understand what happened.
- Gepard: The address will be held at Everwinter Monument. I hope the three of you can find time to attend.
(Street vignettes around the Administrative District, optional)
-
Nervous Silvermane Guard: U—Uh, excuse me… are you Captain Oleg?
-
Oleg: …Huh? I didn’t think anyone would still remember my name after all this time.
-
Nervous Silvermane Guard: Of course we remember! Every young guard knows about your courageous exploits!
-
Oleg: Hahaha, sure! In which case, I’ll cut my walk short and tell you all the grisly details…
-
Natasha: (Near the Golden Theater) I haven’t been able to sit back once over the past ten years — a moment’s negligence could have brought Wildfire crashing down… No matter what anyone says, I believe your arrival was the reward for my long vigil. Thank you, Trailblazer.
-
Hook: (At the monument, pointing at a tram) Wow! Did you see that, Clara? A super suuuper big steel monster just ran past!
-
Clara: I don’t think that’s a monster… Mr. Svarog’s database has information about it.
-
Hook: The important thing is it has a huuuuge appetite and swallows people whole! It just so happens to be The Moles’ next target! We’ll defeat the iron monster and save the people in its tummy!
-
Clara: Um… I don’t think that’s how it works…
-
Gertie & Old Goethe: (Inside Goethe Hotel)
-
Gertie: It’s been more than a decade… I’m so glad to see you in the hotel lobby again, Mr. Goethe.
-
Old Goethe: Unbelievable… feels like it was just yesterday that I was showing you around the hotel all those years ago. My establishment is still alive, all thanks to your superb management!
4. Bronya’s Inaugural Address at the Everwinter Monument
(The crowd gathers around the Everwinter Monument)
- Silvermane Guard Announcer: Guards, formation! Citizens of Belobog, I kindly ask for your attention! Lady Bronya Rand’s inaugural address will begin shortly. Please remain orderly!
(Bronya steps onto the podium overlooking the plaza)
- Bronya: People of Belobog — hear me!
- Bronya: Today we gather here to celebrate our victory… but it was a sacrifice made by a mighty guardian that delivered us this opportunity. She dispelled an evil that cost us 700 years of suffering… and in the process, she paid the ultimate price.
- Bronya: The sacrifice of Cocolia Rand ushers in a new chapter. The blizzard beyond the walls will die away and the offensives of our Silvermane Guards will begin to contain the Fragmentum’s advance.
- Bronya: In the far north, I witnessed with my own eyes the struggle between the late supreme guardian and the evil power that sought to destroy us. In her last moments, the supreme guardian told me her greatest regret…
- Bronya: …The order to seal off the Underworld from the Overworld. With the passage of time, she gradually came to realize the consequences of that decision… Although tortured with guilt, she could not undo the damage.
- Bronya: In her final moments, she wanted us to mark the Stellaron’s end by reuniting Belobog. Overworlders and Underworlders must embrace the dawn of a new age… together.
- Bronya: People of the Underworld, I dare not ask for your forgiveness — I now know the reality of your decade of suffering…
- Bronya: But I want us to work together. We know that without your perseverance and hard work, Belobog will not recover its former glory… and the seed of civilization will not be preserved.
- Bronya: …And on that note, I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to a few guests of the city.
- Bronya: Most of you were not aware of their arrival… but it is thanks to them that our world now flourishes with hope.
- Bronya: They made me realize that while we remain focused on “preserving” the ground beneath our feet, we should not forget to look up into the sky.
- Bronya: I firmly believe that with the determination of everyone, our world, the world the Trailblazers call “Jarilo-VI,” will no longer be alone among the stars.
- Bronya: But before we accomplish that goal, I humbly ask you to follow me into the future…
- Bronya: I, Bronya Rand, the nineteenth guardian of Belobog, hereby take my oath…
- Onlookers: Lady Bronya! Lady Bronya! Long live Belobog!
5. Solemn Pact at Qlipoth Fort
(Entering Qlipoth Fort to speak with Bronya)
- March 7th: Bronya, we’re back!
- Bronya: March, Dan Heng, [Trailblazer]… it’s wonderful you made it to the address. Sorry, I know the invitation was very last minute… but I needed to get the news out as soon as possible.
- [Trailblazer] Are you fully recovered?
- Bronya: Yes, I’m fine now. Don’t worry. My mother… she tried to force the voice of the Stellaron into my head… It was a terrible feeling. I don’t know what would’ve happened if you hadn’t shown up.
- [Trailblazer] Was Seele not there for the address?
- Bronya: She was there. She just made sure no one could see her. Seele is still new to the vastness of the Overworld — she feels uncomfortable in a big crowd… I’ll help her adjust to life here.
- March 7th: That was some speech, Bronya! If I had to talk like that in front of a huge crowd, I’d be shaking head to toe!
- Bronya: It was all just a bunch of palatable lies. I hope you never have a similar experience, March.
- [Trailblazer] The part about preserving the seed of civilization was real.
- [Trailblazer] It’s what you do as a leader that matters.
- [Trailblazer] Sometimes people need to hear white lies.
- Bronya: Mm… I’d prefer to be honest with the people… but I also want to preserve their hope.
- March 7th: …Dan Heng, wanna… talk about Mr. Yang’s findings?
- Dan Heng: Mm, allow me to explain.
(Dan Heng recounts Welt Yang’s cosmic observations to Bronya)
- Bronya: …Which means the Fragmentum has already taken root by this point. Even though the Stellaron is sealed, we won’t be able to reverse the damage immediately…
- [Trailblazer] Stellarons are terrible things.
- Bronya: I know. Our ancestors wouldn’t have risked using one if they’d had other ways of avoiding calamity.
- [Trailblazer] Sorry, we promised you…
- Bronya: No… No need for apologies.
- Bronya: You’ve gone out of your way to save this world. [Trailblazer], you nearly lost your life. I have no right to ask for more.
- Bronya: Besides, I agree with Mr. Yang. Ultimately, the fate of Belobog is in the hands of its own people…
- [Trailblazer] We will find a way to root out the Fragmentum.
- [Trailblazer] The Astral Express will do everything within our power to help.
- Bronya: In that case… as a leader, I must give you a promise of the same weight.
- Bronya: We will hold out with everything we have until the day you Trailblazers return. Even if it takes another 700 years, the children of Jarilo-VI will look up to the sky with hope in their hearts.
- Bronya: So long, my friends. May the Preservation bless your journey.
6. Post-Ceremony Debrief & Seele’s Farewell
(Outside Qlipoth Fort)
- March 7th: Congrats, [Trailblazer]! That was one heck of a first trailblazing expedition!
- Dan Heng: Worth celebrating, I’d say.
- [Trailblazer] On a scale from 1 to 5, how would you rate this journey…
- Dan Heng & March 7th: (Simultaneously) Two point five. / Five!
- March 7th: …What!? That run-of-the-mill, huh?
- Dan Heng: My scoring criteria are different from yours.
- March 7th: Ugh! Anyway, we should be asking [Trailblazer]… Any thoughts you want to share?
- [Trailblazer] Time for a nap…
- March 7th: Wait, what? No way — we’re about to leave and I’ve hardly got any decent photos!
- [Trailblazer] I feel like I could fight a hundred more monsters!
- March 7th: That’s the spirit! Come on, we should take some more photos before we head back to the Express!
- [Trailblazer] What will the next adventure be like?
- March 7th: Equally unforgettable, I’m sure. Anyway, don’t worry about the future — live in the moment!
(Speaking with Seele inside Qlipoth Fort, optional)
- Seele: The inauguration ceremony went very smoothly. I didn’t expect so many Underworlders to come and listen to the address.
- Seele: She wanted me to stand next to her, but I’m glad I stuck to my guns. I want to protect Bronya in my own way.
- [Trailblazer] She will be an outstanding leader.
- Seele: No doubt. I figured that out back in the Underworld.
- [Trailblazer] We’re about to leave Belobog.
- Seele: Leave…? So soon? I thought you’d stay for a few more days…
- Seele: Ahh… I get it. People are waiting for you to go back so you can keep traveling, right?
- Seele: Shame, I thought we’d have more time to discuss all the crazy things you guys like to talk about. Looks like that’ll have to wait till next time.
- Seele: …And before you say anything, there will be a next time. I know we’ll meet again.
Trascrizione Integrale dei Dialoghi (IT)
“torniamo a casa”.
A quest’ora sarà già laureata.
Pronti a salire a bordo?
Tutti quegli anni… Ne abbiamo passate di cotte e di crude, Natasha.
- Natasha: …Hai ragione, Oleg.
- Signore Speranzoso: Sasha! Sasha mia, sei davvero tu?!
- Donna in Lacrime: Papà!
- Bambino Innocente: …Ciao nonno!
- Signore Speranzoso: Mio nipote…
3. Incontro con il Capitano Gepard Landau
(Avvicinandosi a Gepard ai piedi della scalinata)
- March 7th: Ah, guardate, c’è Gepard! È venuto ad accoglierci?
- Dan Heng: È ancora in servizio di guardia. Si è rimesso in sesto parecchio in fretta.
- March 7th: Andiamo a salutarlo!
- Gepard: Bentornati all’Administrative District, Trailblazer.
- March 7th: “Trailblazer”…
- Gepard: Siete combattenti eccezionali.
- Gepard: La cerimonia si terrà all’Everwinter Monument.

-
Gertie e Old Goethe: (Nella hall del Goethe Hotel)
-
- Cittadini: Lady Bronya! Lady Bronya! Lunga vita a Belobog!
5. Il Patto Solenne a Qlipoth Fort
(Entrando a Qlipoth Fort per incontrare Bronya in privato)
- March 7th: Bronya, eccoci di ritorno!
- Bronya: March, Dan Heng, [Trailblazer]…
- [Trailblazer] Ti sei ripresa completamente?
- Bronya: Lo so.
- Bronya: No…
- Bronya: Buon viaggio, amici miei.
6. Riflessioni Finali e Saluto a Belobog
(All’esterno di Qlipoth Fort)
- March 7th: Congratulazioni, [Trailblazer]!
- Dan Heng & March 7th: (All’unisono) Due e mezzo. / Cinque!
- March 7th: …Cosa?!
- March 7th: Uffa! Comunque, dovremmo chiederlo a [Trailblazer]…
- March 7th: Ma come?!
- March 7th: Altrettanto indimenticabile, ci scommetto!
Voglio proteggere Bronya a modo mio, dall’ombra.
So che ci rincontreremo.
