After the battle, the Stellaron destabilizes and Cocolia disintegrates into light. 1. Awakening in Path Space & Echoes of the Past

After being run through the chest by Cocolia’s ice lance, the Trailblazer wakes up suspended within the vast, nebulous void of Path Space—the surreal metaphysical plane where they had previously caught the glance of Nanook. As they wander the amber-lit expanse, psychic echoes of Cocolia’s descent into madness materialize:

Gepard’s Report: Gepard laments the fall of the Commercial District, horrified by fallen comrades whose broken figures linger inside the Fragmentum. Cocolia coldly dismisses his agony, guided by the insidious whisper of the Stellaron.
Serval’s Banishment: Serval implores Cocolia to break Belobog out of its cage and allow scientific research on the Stellaron. Instead, Cocolia has her arrested and her laboratory permanently sealed, declaring that there is no place for her cherished friend in the promised new world.
The Slaughter: A Silvermane Guard cries out in terror as monsters surge. Cocolia, entirely deranged, mocks humanity’s blindness and offers her soldiers’ ignorance to be consumed by the Stellaron.
Young Bronya’s Question: A young Bronya questions why guards were withdrawn from the Underworld. Cocolia justifies the abandonment under the guise of an inevitable, ruthless “higher mission” that every ruler must eventually choose.

2. The Guardians’ Will & The Gaze of Qlipoth

At the core of Path Space, the Trailblazer encounters the collective consciousness of Belobog’s deceased rulers—the Guardians’ Will. The spirits confess that seven centuries of watching their civilization slowly wither under the Eternal Freeze drove even the staunchest protectors to despair and susceptibility to the Stellaron’s whisper. Moved by the Trailblazer’s resolve to shoulder the fate of a world not their own, the Guardians’ Will invites them to touch the amber light. As the Trailblazer lays hands upon the fiery lance of the Architects, cosmic hammer blows resound throughout the universe: Qlipoth, the Amber Lord and Aeon of Preservation, casts THEIR monumental gaze upon the Trailblazer!

3. Rebirth & Duel Against Cocolia, Mother of Deception

Clutching the Architects’ Flaming Lance infused with Magma Will, the Trailblazer plunges back into reality, caught out of the sky by the giant iron hand of the Engine of Creation. Completely revitalized by the Path of Preservation, the Trailblazer rejoins Dan Heng, March 7th, Seele, and Bronya atop the colossus. With the iconic vocal theme Wildfire roaring, the crew battles Cocolia, Mother of Deception. Channeling the power of the Engine of Creation with Preservation Creation’s Wrath, the group shatters Cocolia’s lances of eternal freeze and defeats her Stellaron-infused avatar.

4. The Fall of Cocolia

Reverting to her mortal form, a battered Cocolia collapses. In her final moments, she desperately gathers the destabilizing energy of the Stellaron into her chest, proclaiming that the Stellaron promised a future that will engulf everything. Despite Bronya’s desperate pleas as she breaks free from Seele’s grasp, an energy shockwave repels her. Cocolia casts a faint, bittersweet smile toward Bronya before completely disintegrating into golden motes of light, leaving Bronya weeping on her knees.

5. The Formulation of the “Noble Lie”

With Dan Heng alerting Himeko and Welt to seal the Stellaron from orbit, the immediate cataclysm is averted, though the Eternal Freeze will take generations to recede. Bronya faces an excruciating moral crisis: revealing the full truth of Cocolia’s 700-year betrayal and madness would shatter the populace’s faith in the Architects and trigger civil collapse. Seele steps forward, drawing upon Underworld wisdom—where adults tell children that “tomorrow will be better” just so they can sleep with hope. Together, they formulate the Noble Lie: Supreme Guardian Cocolia learned of the Stellaron from celestial travelers and sacrificed her life fighting to seal it away, dispelling the calamity over Belobog. Bronya chooses to bear the agonizing weight of the truth in secret for the rest of her life, discarding naive fantasies to assume the heavy mantle of the Nineteenth Supreme Guardian.

6. Parting Ways at Everwinter Hill

Overcome with grief and physical exhaustion, Bronya is escorted back to the Administrative District by Seele to prepare for succession. Meanwhile, the Trailblazer, March 7th, and Dan Heng journey into the Underworld to inform Natasha and Oleg that the quarantine can finally be lifted. As they descend, March 7th and Dan Heng discuss the Trailblazer’s astounding ability to attract the gaze of Aeons across multiple Paths—first Nanook of Destruction, now Qlipoth of Preservation—marking a pivotal mystery to bring before Welt Yang aboard the Astral Express.

(Sconfitta dal colpo finale, Cocolia crolla riversa sulla neve, tornando alle sue sembianze mortali) (Bronya scatta disperatamente verso la madre, ma Seele la afferra per le braccia trattenendola con forza)

Bronya: Lasciami andare… devo… devo raggiungerla!
Cocolia: Lo Stellaron…
Cocolia: …ci aveva promesso il futuro!
Cocolia: Esso…
Cocolia: …inghiottirà ogni cosa! (Cocolia concentra nel proprio petto l’energia d’ombra dello Stellaron, scatenando una violenta distorsione gravitazionale) (Bronya riesce a divincolarsi dalla presa di Seele e corre in avanti, ma viene respinta da una barriera impenetrabile)
Bronya: Madre! Fermati! (Cocolia si arresta per un istante, volgendosi verso Bronya con un sorriso debole e malinconico, prima che il suo corpo si dissolva in innumerevoli particelle di luce dorata che svaniscono nel vento gelido) (Bronya cade in ginocchio nella neve, fissando il vuoto con le lacrime agli occhi)
