Description
During the investigation into defamatory rumors regarding Lead Researcher Asta, the Trailblazer must locate the elusive informant known as Gossipmonger (Pamela). Following rumors across the Master Control Zone, the Trailblazer discovers that the walkways surrounding the Storage Zone’s Special Purpose Lab have been quarantined due to a sudden outbreak of Fragmentum entities and remnants of the Antimatter Legion. Gaining clearance from the Security Department, the Trailblazer navigates the locked-down sector, retrieves backup batteries to reactivate the central elevator, eliminates the hostile Voidranger constructs, and rescues Pamela—who demands an exclusive, high-definition photograph of Himeko in exchange for unmasking the whistleblower.
Steps
- Inquire about the current status of the blocked-off area with nearby staff members in the Storage Zone.
- Head to the power supply room and collect the three backup batteries.
- Hand over the backup batteries to the Maintenance Staff and restart the central elevator.
- Take the elevator down to the lower quarantined sector.
- Defeat the Voidranger: Distorter and rescue Pamela.
- Negotiate with Pamela to learn the identity of the anonymous whistleblower.

Security Department Member: The Security Department received reports of Legion remnants lurking in this sector. However, our scouts just confirmed something worse: monsters from the Fragmentum that have never been seen before.
Security Department Member: We sectioned off the walkways immediately, but we lost contact with several researchers trapped inside.

Maintenance Staff Member: Good luck figuring out the cosmic science behind it. All I know is that those creatures smashed the main power relays! The central elevator is completely dead, meaning anyone stuck on the floor below cannot get back up.

Scene 2: Battery Retrieval & Elevator Restart
(The Trailblazer pushes through the corrupted corridor, fending off drifting Antimatter remnants and retrieving three high-capacity Backup Batteries from the power storage racks.)

Scene 3: Descent & Confrontation in the Lower Sector
(The Trailblazer steps onto the lift and descends into the dim, fog-veiled lower tier of the Special Purpose Lab.)
(As the doors open, two panicked researchers come sprinting toward the platform.)
Distressed Researcher: Help! Somebody help! …Wait, the elevator is working!
Timid Researcher: W—We lost sight of Pamela! A terrifying monster ambushed us near the end of the walkway — we didn’t dare go back for her!
Timid Researcher: Please save her! We’ll take the elevator up to safety!
Distressed Researcher: Please, hurry!
(The Trailblazer advances into the central chamber. Cornered against a glass observation rail is Pamela, confronted by a menacing Voidranger: Distorter accompanied by hovering Baryons.)

(With the monsters vaporized into quantum ash, Pamela exhales dramatically and brushes off her skirt.)

Ottenuto il permesso dal Security Department, il Trailblazer si avventura nel settore isolato, recupera le batterie di riserva per riattivare l’ascensore centrale, sconfigge le truppe nemiche e trae in salvo Pamela, la quale esige una foto esclusiva ad alta definizione di Himeko in cambio dell’identità dell’accusatore anonimo.

(Il Trailblazer si fa largo lungo il corridoio invaso da una nebbia purpurea, recuperando tre Batterie Ausiliarie integre dai rack di alimentazione.)

Scena 3: Discesa e Scontro nel Settore Inferiore
(Il Trailblazer sale sulla piattaforma e scende nel livello inferiore del Laboratorio a Scopi Speciali, avvolto da una penombra inquietante.)
(Non appena si aprono le porte, due ricercatori terrorizzati corrono verso l’ascensore.)
