Drifting Between the Stars
Quest Overview
Description
You board the Astral Express and become acquainted with a group of companions who may not always get along, but are all warm and welcoming. A journey with an unknown destination between the stars is about to begin.
Conductor Pom-Pom announces that the inaugural Warp Jump is imminent. After conversing with the crew and taking a seat on the parlor sofa, the train plunges through hyperspace and emerges in the orbit of Jarilo-VI — once a verdant planetary haven, now entirely entombed under an apocalyptic mantle of ice.
Detecting a severe spatial blockage that lowers the Star Rail stability to a precarious 12%, Pom-Pom extends the train’s stopover indefinitely. Preliminary analysis by Welt Yang and Himeko confirms the presence of an active Stellaron causing pervasive Fragmentum distortions. To reopen the silver tracks, Himeko commissions a ground expedition team consisting of March 7th, Dan Heng, and the Trailblazer.
Steps
- Familiarize yourself with the Parlor Car and converse with the crew members (Himeko, Welt, and March 7th).
- Take a seat on the parlor sofa and brace for the inaugural Warp Jump.
- Observe Jarilo-VI through the observation viewport alongside Himeko and March 7th.
- Listen to Pom-Pom’s emergency spatial telemetry report regarding the Star Rail blockage.
- Receive the briefing from Welt Yang and Himeko regarding the Stellaron and Fragmentum phenomena.
- Accept the trailblazing assignment to descend onto Jarilo-VI and consult Dan Heng for planetary survey data.
Dialogue & Script Transcription
📜 Complete Mission Script (EN)
Scene 1: Parlor Car Preparations
(The Trailblazer steps into the warm, scarlet-carpeted interior of the Astral Express. The scent of polished brass and mahogany fills the air. Near the beverage bar, March 7th waves playfully at Conductor Pom-Pom.)
March 7th: Conductor, can I get a juice, please? Thank youuuu~
Pom-Pom: Ugh… We’re jumping in five minutes! You can have something to drink when it’s over!
March 7th: …But I’m thirsty now!
(Before settling down, the Trailblazer checks in with the crew.)
Conversing with Himeko
Himeko: Our next stop is a small planet called Jarilo-VI. It’s been thousands of years since the last time the Express paid a visit. The data bank shows it was a lush and beautiful place. But after all this time, it’s possible that dramatic changes have occurred.
Conversing with Welt Yang
Welt Yang: Jumps are like this: they may feel novel the first few times, but you’ll slowly get used to them after a few more. As for the mechanism… well, if you’re interested, I’ll explain it to you in detail when we have more time. For now, just sit and wait. Remember to close your eyes — it helps with the dizziness.
Checking Dan Heng’s Cabin
(The Trailblazer approaches the hallway leading to the passenger quarters. Dan Heng’s door is firmly latched from the inside.) Trailblazer: (Hmm… Maybe Dan Heng locked it to focus on his archives?)
Conversing with March 7th
March 7th: Oh, don’t worry about me. I just wanna see if I can stay on my feet this time~
🔹 [Trailblazer Choice]
- Good luck, I’m rooting for you.
- March 7th: Thanks! I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of it. The key is using your core, waist, and leg muscles. It’s not your stance that matters, but your ability to ride the inertia…
- Don’t hurt yourself.
- March 7th: It’s fine, I’m sturdier than I look~ Besides, the ice will protect me. When I’m in danger, I instinctively create ice to protect myself. …Though sometimes falling on the ice actually hurts more than falling on the ground.
- Why do you make things hard for yourself?
- March 7th: Don’t be silly — this is fun! I like keeping busy, otherwise I start obsessing over… pointless things. Well, don’t mind me. Find a place to sit down and buckle up!
Scene 2: The Inaugural Warp Jump
(The Trailblazer sits on the comfortable plush sofa in the center of the car. Overhead chime bells ring rhythmically.)
Pom-Pom: (over intercom) Hello? Hello hello? All passengers, please return to your seats! The train is about to make the jump! Hold on, everyone!
(March 7th stands firmly in the aisle, bending her knees with intense concentration.)
March 7th: …I won’t fall over! I won’t fall over!
Pom-Pom: 5… 4… 3… 2… 1!
(Space-time ripples outward in dazzling kaleidoscopic spectrums. Stars stretch into radiant filaments of silver light as the Astral Express pierces the dimensional fabric and glides smoothly into real space.)
Scene 3: The Frozen World & Emergency Braking
(Outside the expansive observation windows, a desolate planetary sphere appears — swallowed by blinding blizzards and howling glaciers.)
Himeko: After all those millennia… is this what Jarilo-VI has become?
March 7th: Huh? So that snowy planet is our destination this time?
Himeko: Yes… Looks like this trailblazing expedition won’t be easy.
(Suddenly, sirens blare across the console deck as red warning indicators flash on the navigational displays.)
Pom-Pom: Spatial readout anomaly! Star rail stability is down to 12%! Schedule alteration: Seven-day stopover time extended indefinitely!
🔹 [Trailblazer Choice]
- Anomaly?
- Himeko: The complex locality of this world has been… affected somehow. The star rail has been blocked off by something.
- Indefinitely?
- Pom-Pom: Indefinitely! Until the anomaly is removed! If we try to force our way ahead, there could be a hefty price to pay!
Himeko: Take an ordinary train as an example: It’s like the tracks up ahead have suddenly snapped, and the way forward leads straight into a collapsing abyss… The only sensible thing to do would be to brake hard, right?
March 7th: This again… Don’t tell me, it’s gotta be…
Welt Yang: The results of the preliminary analysis are here — the anomaly stems from a Stellaron, as always.
🔹 [Trailblazer Choice]
- Stellaron…
Welt Yang: Yes, (Trailblazer) — just like the one that’s been placed into your body.
Scene 4: The Nature of the Stellaron & Fragmentum
🔹 [Trailblazer Choice]
- What exactly is a Stellaron?
- What should we do…
Himeko: Stellarons are clouded in mystery — even Herta isn’t able to fully understand them… But there’s no need to worry: this isn’t the first time our route has been obstructed by a Stellaron. Even if we don’t know everything about them, at least we know how to neutralize their influences.
Welt Yang: The only thing we can say for sure is that their arrival causes massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems. They also generate distortions in space such as Fragmentums. There must be an inextricable connection between the Stellaron we’re dealing with here, and Jarilo-VI becoming a frozen planet.
Himeko: Our current theory is that Stellarons are seeds of disaster planted by a certain Aeon throughout the universe. We can’t continue to trailblaze without removing the source of the disaster.
🔹 [Trailblazer Choice]
- Why can’t the people in the worlds affected save themselves?
Welt Yang: It’s empowering, looking out at a world from a window like this… but when you set foot on the planet itself, you realize how small and helpless you really are — just like them.
🔹 [Trailblazer Choice]
- So we’re like a chivalrous band of cosmic knights!
March 7th: Right! You finally get what we’re all about. Pretty cool, huh?
Scene 5: Assembling the Trailblaze Trio
Himeko: (Trailblazer), I’d like to entrust this trailblazing expedition to March, Dan Heng, and you. The objective is clear: find the Stellaron responsible for the disaster and the spatial distortions, and bring it back to the Express. We’ll deal with the rest.
March 7th: Awesome! We get to work as a team again, (Trailblazer)!
🔹 [Trailblazer Choice]
- You’re not coming?
- Himeko: Someone has to stay on the train, or Pom-Pom will get lonely. Not to mention, Nanook the Destruction threw us a glance just now. If we’re targeted by the Antimatter Legion, things could go south fast.
- Why us?
- Himeko: Because you three made a great team back in the space station. My guess is that if you spend even longer together, we’ll see something even more impressive.
- I’m kinda sleepy…
- March 7th: Hey! That’s not the spirit!
Welt Yang: So it’s still not our turn…
Himeko: I know you really want to go, Welt, but we should give the youngsters a chance to get out there on their own. It’ll be a good opportunity for them to bond.
Himeko: (Trailblazer), March, if you two are ready, why not go and find Dan Heng? He’s probably already started collating the ecological data and survey results for Jarilo-VI. It’s always good to know more about the destination before you start a journey.
Panoramica della Missione
Descrizione

Dialoghi & Trascrizione Integrale
📜 Trascrizione Integrale della Sceneggiatura (IT)
March 7th: Oh, non badare a me! Voglio solo vedere se riesco a rimanere in piedi durante il salto stavolta~
🔹 [Scelta Trailblazer]
- Buona fortuna, faccio il tifo per te.
- March 7th: Grazie!
Scena 2: Il Salto Iperspaziale Inaugurale
Pom-Pom: (all’interfono) Pronto? Pronto, prova? Tutti i passeggeri tornino immediatamente ai propri posti! Il treno sta per effettuare il salto! Reggetevi forte!
Himeko: Dopo tutti questi millenni… è questo ciò che è diventato Jarilo-VI?
March 7th: Eh?!
(All’improvviso, sirene stridenti risuonano nella cabina comandi mentre indicatori d’emergenza lampeggiano in rosso vivo.)
- A tempo indeterminato?
- Pom-Pom: A tempo indeterminato!
Scena 4: La Natura dello Stellaron & i Fragmentum
🔹 [Scelta Trailblazer]
- Cos’è esattamente uno Stellaron?
- E adesso cosa dobbiamo fare…?
March 7th: Esatto! Finalmente hai capito qual è il nostro spirito. Niente male, eh?
