Soldiers Stay Silent

In-Game Log

With the help of Gepard and Serval, you overcome the heavy blockades and internal strife within the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone, finally arriving at the most treacherous Fragmentum in Belobog: the Corridor of Fading Echoes.

Synopsis & Key Lore

1. Infiltration of the Restricted Zone & The Gear Bridge

Serval guides the Trailblazer, March 7th, Dan Heng, and Seele into the heavily guarded Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone. By bluffing guard Franz with a fabricated inspection order and memories of her past military performances, Serval secures temporary passes. From a high vantage point overlooking the defensive lines and chasm, she reveals the massive rotating Gear Bridge, the sole passage connecting Belobog’s fortifications to the outer Fragmentum and the northern Snow Plains.

2. Confronting Lieutenant Dunn at the Energy Hub

Finding the Gear Bridge deactivated due to a localized power shutdown, the group seeks out the Energy Hub. There, they encounter Silvermane Officer Dunn—Serval’s former keyboardist during their military band days. When Dunn deduces the crew’s true identity from conflicting reports regarding Captain Gepard’s whereabouts, he refuses to compromise his soldier’s oath. Following a tense combat engagement, Dunn is subdued, yielding the encryption key. However, the base-wide intrusion alarm is triggered.

3. Showdown with Captain Gepard Landau

Restoring power to the Gear Bridge, the group crosses into the frontline sector only to be intercepted by Captain Gepard Landau and an elite detachment of Silvermane Guards. Bound by duty and Cocolia’s decree branding the outsiders as saboteurs, Gepard refuses to step aside. A fierce clash ensues. Though defeated in combat, Gepard prepares to fight to his last breath until Bronya Rand arrives on the scene. Presenting Svarog’s core historical records, Bronya exposes Cocolia’s fatal corruption by the Stellaron. Realizing that the Silvermane Guards’ paramount oath is to preserve the people of Belobog rather than blindly follow a corrupted ruler into ruin, Gepard lays down his weapons and pledges his troops to clear the frontline.

4. Breaching the Gate & The Landau Sacrifice

Gepard orders the massive restricted zone gates opened, unleashing a ferocious counteroffensive against the surging tides of Fragmentum monsters. Though desperate to see the Stellaron with her own eyes after a decade of forbidden research, Serval chooses to stay behind at her brother’s side to anchor the defensive line and prevent the guards from being overrun, entrusting the final journey into the northern wilderness to the Astral Express crew and Seele.

5. Watchers in Orbit & The Corridor of Fading Echoes

Aboard the Astral Express in orbit, Welt Yang and Himeko monitor the sharp escalation of Fragmentum activity across Jarilo-VI, resolving to let the young Trailblazer forge their own legend while remaining prepared to deliver orbital support if catastrophic anomalies emerge. Meanwhile, the Trailblazers cross the threshold into the Corridor of Fading Echoes, an ominous, deeply corroded maze that serves as the final barrier before Everwinter Hill.

Part I: Infiltration of the Restricted Zone (Unattainable Idol)

(After leaving Neverwinter Workshop, heading to the Restricted Zone)

  • Seele: Is Bronya really safe?
  • Serval: You care about her, huh. You must have become close friends.
  • Seele: Close is… a bit much. But I made her a promise…
  • Serval: Relax, she’s the strongest girl I’ve ever seen.
  • Seele: Mm… I can believe that.

(Approaching the entrance to the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone)

  • March 7th: They’ve jacked up security alright… how the heck are we gonna sneak in? Serval, got any ideas?
  • Serval: Leave it to me. Stick close guys, and don’t get spotted.

(Approaching guard Franz at the checkpoint)

  • Silvermane Guard: This is a military base. Trespassers aren’t allowed in.
  • Silvermane Guard: Wait, isn’t that… Ah! Serval! Long time no see!
  • Serval: Well, if it isn’t Franz, long time no see! You’re still watching the entrance?
  • Franz: Well you see, I… Bah, you haven’t changed, Serval. Still nailing us to the wall…
  • Franz: So… what brings you over here at this hour? And who are the guys behind you?
  • Serval: My brother said the restricted zone energy lines were malfunctioning — told me it was urgent.
  • Serval: These guys are my assistants. We need to overhaul all the installations here.
  • Franz: Uh… I didn’t hear anything about the energy lines malfunctioning…
  • Serval: Oh please, this is a Technology Division issue. Why would they tell you guys? Come on, let us through. Unless you wanna be held responsible if the lines blow?
  • Franz: N—No, that’s uh, not something I could handle…
  • Franz: Seeing as you’re Captain Gepard’s sister, it should be fine…
  • Franz: Okay, here are some temporary passes… Oh, and remember to give them back to me when you’re done!
  • Serval: Thanks, Franz. I’ll put in a good word for you with my brother and get him to promote you to squad leader.
  • Franz: No, no, Captain Gepard hates all that under-the-table stuff. I’d have a better chance if you didn’t mention it!

(Entering the zone and passing through the high ramparts)

  • Serval: See! That was easy.
  • March 7th: You’re Gepard’s sister alright…
  • Serval: Hmph, I don’t want people to see me that way… I’m doing this for you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t drag my family name into this.

(Approaching the high overlook platform)

  • Serval: Do you see that mechanical gear bridge? When you cross over to the other side, you arrive in “hell.”
  • [Trailblazer] So what exactly is on the other side?
    • Serval: An endless Fragmentum, a few exhausted Silvermane Guards… and the stench of death in the air.
  • [Trailblazer] And what’s this “hell” like exactly?
    • Serval: Hm… It’s a place too cold to bear, covered in snow and ice. The guys doing the science say that humanity can’t survive there without heat sources.
    • Serval: The restricted zone front line is on the other side of the gear bridge. It’s an endless Fragmentum, a few exhausted Silvermane Guards… and the stench of death in the air.
  • [Trailblazer] The Architects follow Qlipoth. Do they believe in hell?
    • Serval: They do. The Architects believe that hell can exist on any world — a plight that will drag you into the abyss.
    • Serval: In the future, a terrible catastrophe will arrive. If, under Qlipoth the Preservation’s guidance, humanity is not united… then hell will arrive.
    • Serval: That’s the belief of the Architects… but for us, hell is an endless Fragmentum, a few exhausted Silvermane Guards… and the stench of death in the air.
  • Serval: If we want to progress further north, we will need to cross that hell. Are you ready?
  • [Trailblazer] We’ve come this far…
    • March 7th: Exactly, we’ve got nowhere left to retreat.
  • [Trailblazer] Without hardships to overcome, there is no trailblazing.
    • March 7th: Right on! I’m stealing that!
  • [Trailblazer] It’s never too late to retreat…
    • March 7th: Look how far we’ve come! Don’t chicken out on us now.
  • Serval: Haha, let’s go then. First, we need to think of a way to get to the other side.
  • Serval: I helped set the underlying mechanisms for this type of gear bridge. It’s controlled via a terminal. Let me take you there.

(Approaching the Gear Bridge terminal)

  • March 7th: Is Gepard on front line duty a lot?
  • Serval: Yes, but what made you ask that all of a sudden?
  • March 7th: It’s so dangerous, don’t you worry about him?
  • Serval: He’s a Landau. (Interacting with the controller)
  • Serval: Huh? Why isn’t it responding?
  • Dan Heng: Looks like the terminal is out of power.
  • Serval: Dang it, the primary energy hub must have been turned off. We’ll need to go to the outpost and find the officer in charge of the power grid.
  • Serval: If I recall correctly… Lieutenant Dunn should be stationed around the Energy Hub outpost. Follow me!

(Approaching the outpost booth)

  • Dunn: (To a soldier) I heard Gepard sent mechanics for an emergency repair?
  • Silvermane Guard: Yes, I confirmed it with Franz.
  • Dunn: I’ve been keeping watch here all day, why didn’t I hear about any equipment in need of emergency servicing?
  • Silvermane Guard: I heard from Franz that it’s Captain Gepard’s sister…
  • Dunn: S—Serval!?
  • Dunn: …You gotta be kidding me, I haven’t showered in two days… do I smell?
  • Silvermane Guard: …N—No, sir!

(Serval and the crew walk up to Dunn)

  • Serval: Hey, Dunn! It’s been a while. I didn’t know you made security captain.
  • Dunn: S—Serval, it’s been a long time… you’re still so… Ahem. You look good.
  • Serval: Allow me to introduce my assistants to you. They help me take care of business at the workshop.
  • Serval: Everyone, this is Captain Dunn, an old friend of mine. He used to be an ace on the keys in the band.
  • March 7th: Oh? You play rock ‘n’ roll too? Cool!
  • Dan Heng: Pleased to meet you.
  • [Trailblazer] Great seeing you.
    • Dunn: Oh, hello…
    • March 7th: sniff What’s that weird smell…
  • [Trailblazer] Something smells weird…
    • Dunn: Hmm? cough Zackery, how many days has it been since you showered?
    • Silvermane Guard: Uh… I showered right before my shift?
    • Dunn: Hmm? What did you say?
    • Silvermane Guard: …I—I haven’t showered in two days, sir!
    • Dunn: Unacceptable, especially in front of visitors! Apologies for the embarrassment, all.
  • Serval: It’s not a big deal, Dunn. Y’know, if you get a chance, would you wanna get on stage with us again?
  • Serval: My keyboard guy is pretty good, but I still miss our military days playing in the band…
  • Dunn: That was a long time ago, Serval — I haven’t touched a keyboard in ages. Besides, I’m stationed here all year round, I’m afraid I don’t get many chances to return to the city.
  • Dunn: Though I don’t stand on ceremony… How may I assist you? If everything’s in order, you’d better head back to the city. It’s not safe here.
  • Serval: I’ve checked the lines, there don’t seem to be any major problems. All that’s left is the energy hub.
  • Serval: The guard over there said that I needed an “encryption key” to open the gate. Can you help me out?
  • Dunn: …
  • [Trailblazer] We’ll be on our way after we run a check-up.
  • [Trailblazer] Don’t be hesitant in front of your dream girl.
    • March 7th: Could you be any less discreet!?
  • Dunn: …
  • Serval: Anything wrong, Dunn?
  • Dunn: Sorry, Serval… but can you tell me what Captain Gepard told you?
  • Serval: Huh? Oh, uh… Let me think… “Hey sis, the energy supply lines in the restricted zone have malfunctioned. Those useless engineers can’t find the problem.” Something like that…
  • Dunn: And may I ask… when did he contact you?
  • Serval: Uh… this morning? Yeah, that’s right. He’s on urban patrol duty today, right? That’s why he popped round and asked the favor.
  • Dunn: …
  • Dunn: Captain Gepard just returned to the front line. I could… reconfirm with him?
  • Serval: …Hah? Hold up, he’s back? That can’t be, he was still in the city a little while ago…
  • Dunn: sigh You haven’t changed, Serval… You’re still a lousy liar.
  • Dunn: These people you’ve brought, they’re… they’re not workshop assistants, right?
  • Serval: …
  • Dunn: Serval, it’s not that I don’t want to help you… but you should remember that I’m a Belobog Silvermane Guard!
  • Dunn: How about this. You can leave and I won’t tell anyone about this incident… But the outsiders must remain.
  • Dan Heng: There goes the negotiation.
  • [Trailblazer] Serval, you should go.
  • [Trailblazer] Sorry for getting you involved in this.
  • [Trailblazer] Looks like this is gonna end in a fight after all…
  • Serval: I brought you guys here, and I’m standing with you till the end!
  • Serval: Dunn, this concerns the fate of Belobog — no — the fate of our whole world. Please don’t stand in our way…
  • Dunn: Serval! We used to rehearse together every day. You must understand—
  • Dunn: My rock ‘n’ roll soul is to uphold the dignity of a soldier!

(Battle against Silvermane Officer Dunn and his squad)

(After defeating Dunn)

  • Dunn: Serval… why…
  • Serval: I’m sorry Dunn… Time for a little nap.
  • Dan Heng: He’s just unconscious. Don’t worry.
  • Seele: Stubborn fool… strong, though. Wildfire lacks people like him.
  • Serval: Got it, the encryption key! Quick, before we attract attention, let’s— (A loud, echoing alarm blares across the fortress)
  • March 7th: I think we attracted attention…
  • Serval: That’s the enemy attack alarm… We don’t have much time! Let’s get that gate open!

Part II: Showdown with Captain Gepard (Young Guard)

(Using the Encryption Key on the Energy Hub terminal)

  • Serval: We’re in!
  • March 7th: It’s open! Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, Dunn!
  • Serval: Give me a second… Ugh, who designed this operating system! It’s so unintuitive!
  • Serval: Emergency Fire Evacuation System… Not that…
  • Serval: Rock ‘n’ Roll Dance Floor Atmosphere Mode… Who the heck added that!? And they used our band’s old preset!
  • Serval: Gear Bridge Control Terminal — ha, found it!
  • Serval: That’s it, I’ve reset the energy system! Let’s go and operate the gear bridge terminal!

(Returning to the bridge terminal and defeating the patrolling Automaton Grizzly)

  • Serval: Energy restored… system online… certification enabled… come on, come on!
  • Serval: 40%… 65%… 85%… 100%! (The massive gears grind and rotate the bridge into position)
  • Serval: Perfect! Okay, we need to get to the front line.
  • Dan Heng: …We could have a problem. Your brother may be there.
  • Serval: He probably is… Hopefully, we don’t bump into him, but if we do, we’ll just have to deal with it.
  • Dan Heng: Are you sure you can convince him?
  • Serval: I’ve probably got a 30% chance, or less.
  • Dan Heng: …Meaning it could end in a fight.
  • March 7th: Haven’t you noticed yet? Most of our “convincing” ends in a fight.
  • Dan Heng: We need to be sure, Serval. If we can’t reach a common understanding with your brother, what will you do?
  • Serval: …Of course. My word is my bond. I said that I’d stand with you to the end, and I won’t back down now.

(Reaching the frontline rampart — Gepard steps forward with armed guards)

  • Gepard: Serval… it really is you.
  • Serval: Wait, Gepard! Listen to me—
  • Gepard: When the sentry reported to me, I thought there must have been a misunderstanding. The sister I know would never associate with criminals!
  • Gepard: Step away from the intruders, Serval. Walk over slowly and stand behind me. You’re different from them. You belong to the Landau family.
  • Serval: I’m sorry… we have an understanding. I stand with them.
  • Gepard: …
  • Serval: Give me a few minutes, just a few. I’ll explain every—
  • Gepard: Enough, Serval!
  • Serval: …!
  • Gepard: Have you forgotten where we are? We Landaus ought to know this place better than anywhere… The outer reaches of the front line against the Fragmentum, Belobog’s most strategic protective fortress.
  • Gepard: Every Silvermane Guard here, every person here, is ready to sacrifice themselves, ready to spill their blood for Belobog at a moment’s notice…
  • Gepard: Yet here you are leading fugitives into the restricted zone, attacking my Silvermane comrades-in-arms, hijacking the energy hub… Are you really worthy of the Landau name?
  • Serval: Why do you think I’ve come here? We’ve found a way to dispel the Eternal Freeze, to seal the Fragmentum. It might be the only lifeline this world has left!
  • Gepard: If that were true, why wouldn’t you report to Madam Cocolia? Why would you sneak into the restricted zone and create chaos!?
  • Serval: You don’t understand. The one preventing us from getting close to the truth… is Cocolia herself.
  • Gepard: …You have all seen the Supreme Guardian in person. Do you think you can act as you please because she didn’t recognize your version of events!?
  • Serval: Listen to me, Gepard! The origin and spread of the Fragmentum is linked to the Stellaron. The meteorite in the Architects’ records, it’s—
  • Gepard: I know about the Stellaron. It’s exactly what the fugitives behind you are seeking. But the Madam Guardian has already revealed the truth to me! These people have ulterior motives, Serval. They want to steal this treasure from the Architects.
  • Gepard: The Madam Guardian has warned me before that you were indulging in fantasy, that you’d been exposed to forbidden knowledge, and that you would bring destruction down upon Belobog… I believe you, Serval, I believe you think you’re acting with loyalty to the people! It’s just…
  • Gepard: Guards, formation! Arrest these people. We could be inundated with Fragmentum monsters at any moment, we have no time to waste on them!
  • Serval: The forbidden is only forbidden to conceal the truth within!
  • Serval: Cocolia’s afraid that we’ll seize on this knowledge — that the truth will spread far and wide: To save the world, we must risk it all!
  • Serval: I’ve said my piece, whether you believe it or not is up to you. Regardless, you should know by now your sister’s never been one to back down. If there’s something or someone you can’t abide, you should stand up and resist… and if there’s something you uphold, you should uphold it to the very end!
  • [Trailblazer] Well said, Serval!
  • [Trailblazer] Think thrice, Gepard!
  • [Trailblazer] What happened to brainwaves!?
  • Gepard: Save your explanation for the judge. You are charged with sabotaging the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone. In my capacity as captain, I hereby order that these fugitives be arrested!

(Climactic Battle against Captain Gepard Landau and his elite guard)

(After defeating Gepard)

  • Gepard: …
  • Seele: This guy… knows how to put up a fight. I’ve never come up against anyone this relentless!
  • March 7th: Phew… he just won’t go down…
  • Serval: He’s as stubborn as I am. It could be an argument or a fight — he’ll do both to the death… That’s why he bugs the heck out of me!
  • Serval: That’s enough, Gepard. Take a look around you! You’re the last man standing!
  • Gepard: …Even if I am, I won’t yield…
  • [Trailblazer] We don’t need you to yield.
  • [Trailblazer] Please yield already.
  • [Trailblazer] Brainwaves? Anyone?
  • Dan Heng: We don’t want you to yield through force of arms. That wouldn’t be a victory for us.
  • March 7th: Yeah, our goal is the same as yours, Serval’s, and Bronya’s — we just want to preserve this world! There’s no reason to turn against each other!
  • Serval: Gepard… brother. Surely now you can see the need for pragmatism?
  • Serval: Even if you don’t believe my outsider friends, you should believe me… Ugh, maybe I’ve wasted your trust… in which case, believe Bronya.
  • Gepard: …Lady Bronya?

(The Trailblazers hand over Bronya’s personal letter and recount the findings from Svarog’s core)

  • Gepard: …
  • Serval: There’s nothing more to say, Gepard. The decision is yours.
  • Gepard: As a captain of the Silvermane Guards, I am duty-bound to carry out the orders of the Supreme Guardian.
  • [Trailblazer] Final answer…?
  • [Trailblazer] We could decide for you.
  • [Trailblazer] Fine! I’ve still got fight in me.
  • Gepard: But… Lady Bronya is the commanding officer for the front lines. According to military protocol, if the front line directives of the commanding officer clash with those of the Architects behind the lines, a soldier must remain at their post and await further directives.
  • [Trailblazer] Thanks for understanding.
  • [Trailblazer] Is this a brainwave? This feels like a brainwave.
  • [Trailblazer] Nice interpretation of the rules, dude.
  • Gepard: …
  • Gepard: For the Silvermane Guards, the Guardian’s orders are paramount and absolute. But there is something of equal importance in the oath we take…
  • Serval: …The people of Belobog.
  • Gepard: If we lose the people, we lose the reason for our existence. Our fight with the Fragmentum monsters is for the sake of preservation, but our fight with you… I fail to see the purpose.
  • Gepard: If you are truly able to prevent our endlessly unfolding misfortunes, then the people of Belobog are indebted to you.
  • Gepard: But if you are using lies to mask your true intentions, using my sister and Bronya for your own ends… I swear by Qlipoth that I will carry out your punishment without an ounce of mercy.
  • Seele: They’re not lying, I promise you.
  • Gepard: You must be Seele? You are a skilled fighter… your combat style is nothing like that of the Guards.
  • Seele: Regardless of what you believe, these guys have been a great help to the Underworld. Many people would vouch for them.
  • Gepard: …I’m sure.
  • Gepard: If you want to advance further northward, you must traverse an area entirely corroded by the Fragmentum. It’s the only way to get to the Snow Plains on the other side.
  • Gepard: The Guards can give you some time before the next wave of attacks is upon us. Rest up and prepare yourselves.

Part III: Breaching the Frontline & Entering the Corridor (Soldiers Stay Silent)

(At the massive frontline gate, preparing for the sortie)

(Talk to Seele, optional)

  • Seele: I gotta admit, I had a lot of… misunderstandings… about the Silvermane Guards. They really are willing to risk everything to defend Belobog.
  • Seele: The difference is we’re making a stand for freedom… while they’re just carrying out orders.
  • [Trailblazer] That’s why we have to try and put ourselves in their shoes.
    • Seele: Put ourselves in their shoes… Easier said than done. Everyone has their struggles, but some people never get a chance to explain themselves.
  • [Trailblazer] Do you understand Bronya’s struggles?
    • Seele: Of course I do, I’ve understood them for a while now. But as far as I can tell, she doesn’t think about herself at all. Everything she does is for others.
    • Seele: …It’s the same with Gepard. I could tell it took a lot for him to lay down his arms.
  • [Trailblazer] It’s time to finish this.
    • Seele: I think I can already hear the storm on the other side of the city walls… Not a reassuring sound.
    • Seele: I hope Serval’s right… That supreme lunatic better not have harmed Bronya.

(Talk to Serval, optional)

  • Serval: You see? Brothers and sisters need to have a scrap once in a while to get back on good terms!
  • [Trailblazer] Sorry for getting you involved in this.
    • Serval: Agh, enough apologizing. My ears can’t take any more. Honestly, this would have happened sooner or later. You just gave me an excuse to bring it forward.
  • [Trailblazer] So this is how brothers and sisters normally coexist?
    • Serval: What’s wrong with a bit of violent coexistence between siblings? Seems pretty normal to me!
    • Serval: Hehe, I’m pulling your leg. Since I left the military, my brother and I have always stood at opposite ends of the spectrum.
    • Serval: Knowing my temper, my brother almost certainly went to great lengths on many occasions to keep me out of trouble with the Architects.
  • [Trailblazer] Let the Stellaron hunt begin.
    • Serval: Let’s do this. I may never have come face to face with it, but this Stellaron cost me ten whole years of my life!
    • Serval: Actually, I have another selfish motive… I want to prove to Cocolia that I was right all along!
    • Serval: …Sorry, hardly the time for me to be obsessing over all this.
  • [Trailblazer] We’ve got this.
    • Serval: Now, if you’re ready to get on stage, let’s push for that standing ovation!

(Talk to Gepard)

  • Gepard: As soon as the restricted zone gate is open, the monsters on the other side will turn their attention to us.
  • Gepard: Once you’ve broken through the front line… there’s nothing more we can do for you. You’ll be on your own in the Fragmentum.
  • Gepard: So… have you made up your minds?
  • [Trailblazer] We’re ready.
    • Gepard: Understood. Keep your weapons close. This will be a fierce fight.
    • Gepard: Guards! Open the gate!

(The massive blast doors open — waves of Fragmentum creatures surge forward)

  • Serval: Are you dealing with attacks like this every day?
  • Gepard: It’s a common occurrence.
  • Gepard: Guards, formation!
  • Seele: Hmph, well I’m gonna make sure I don’t owe the Guards any favors when this is done!
  • [Trailblazer] For Bronya!
  • [Trailblazer] For Belobog!
  • [Trailblazer] For universal peace!
  • Serval: Here they come!
  • Gepard: Steel yourselves!

(Fierce battle against waves of Fragmentum monsters)

  • March 7th: …How many of them are there!?
  • Seele: The more the merrier, these guys are nothing! Hold the line!

(After defeating the vanguard)

  • Gepard: Argh…
  • Serval: …I told you, Gepard, the Barrier hasn’t been fixed yet! Don’t try and be a hero!
  • Gepard: This is… only the first wave. They’ll have reassembled soon… I have to…
  • Seele: Hey, Mr. Silvermane, listen to your sister! I can tell just by looking at you that you can barely stand!
  • Serval: …
  • Serval: Outsiders, Seele, the second wave hasn’t started yet. Make the most of this opportunity to charge through the Corridor!
  • March 7th: Huh? Serval, aren’t you gonna look for the Stellaron with us?
  • Serval: My brother can’t hold them back by himself. He wasted a lot of energy on us. He’s my responsibility.
  • Serval: If I’m not here to help… I don’t know what might happen in the next wave.
  • Serval: I want to go with you, I do! I always wanted to catch a glimpse of the Stellaron with my own eyes…
  • Serval: But I can’t abandon my brother and the other Guards — I’m a Landau! It’s up to you now.
  • Serval: Get hold of the Stellaron before Cocolia realizes what’s happening!
  • [Trailblazer] We can’t abandon you either!
    • Seele: Serval’s right, Trailblazer. Let’s go.
    • Dan Heng: The Guards have opened up a way through for us, we can’t let them down.
  • [Trailblazer] We won’t disappoint you.
  • [Trailblazer] Chaaaaarge!
  • Serval: Hey March! Don’t forget to take a picture of the Stellaron for me.
  • March 7th: Say no more! We’re good at this. Don’t worry!

(The Astral Express crew and Seele pass through the gates into the mist)

(Cutscene: Orbit above Jarilo-VI — Aboard the Astral Express)

  • Welt: Fragmentum activity is intensifying… Something’s happening on Jarilo-VI.
  • Welt: Shouldn’t we go down there, Himeko?
  • Himeko: Have faith in them. Besides, this is their first Trailblazing expedition. How will they be able to look back fondly without a few twists and turns?
  • Himeko: Are you bored, Welt? I understand… But we have lots of opportunities ahead of us. Let’s leave the memories of this expedition for them~
  • Welt: So you think they’ll be safe, right?
  • Himeko: …Yes, we haven’t seen any Aeon or Emanator-level imaginary reactions. Relax.
  • Himeko: This is a young person’s adventure, we shouldn’t interfere. At most, we could offer a little “off-site assistance.”

(Cut back to the Corridor of Fading Echoes)

  • Seele: Is this… the Fragmentum Gepard was talking about?
  • Dan Heng: Compared to this, the corrosion we saw in Backwater Pass pales into insignificance.
  • [Trailblazer] How can we pinpoint the Stellaron?
    • Dan Heng: Serval said that the Stellaron was very likely hidden in the Snow Plains north of Belobog. If we want to get there, I’m afraid we’ll have to find the exit to this Fragmentum maze first.
    • March 7th: Guys… does this place feel weird to you? It feels like… like there are loads of eyes staring at us.
  • [Trailblazer] There’s a restless atmosphere here.
    • March 7th: Oh yeah, Trailblazer. It feels like… like there are loads of eyes staring at us.
    • Dan Heng: Serval said that the Stellaron was very likely hidden in the Snow Plains north of Belobog. If we want to get there, I’m afraid we’ll have to find the exit to this Fragmentum maze first.
  • Seele: …This place makes my flesh crawl… like there are insects under my skin.
  • Dan Heng: We have no guide and no way of detecting the Stellaron. We’ll just have to advance gradually… and cautiously.
  • Dan Heng: Don’t be disheartened. The stronger the Fragmentum contamination, the closer we are to the source.

(Post-Mission: Speaking with Serval at Neverwinter Workshop)

  • [Trailblazer] How’s Gepard doing?
    • Serval: Oh, you mean the thing in the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone? He just suffered a few flesh wounds, nothing serious. Don’t worry — he’s captain of the Silvermane Guards, so he isn’t that fragile.
    • Serval: After you went north into the Fragmentum, Gepard and I held off several waves of attack with some Silvermane Guards. We finally took our chances and shut off the entrance to the restricted zone.
    • Serval: To tell the truth, the whole thing was thrilling… Endless monsters pouring out from the Fragmentum, rushing to the restricted zone. I almost thought we weren’t gonna make it, but luckily I had my best guy with me…
    • Serval: The previous Fragmentum attacks were nowhere near this vicious. sigh I mean back when I was still in the Silvermane Guards.
    • Serval: Now though… Things are really tough for Gepard.
  • [Trailblazer] You’ve been in combat before?
    • Serval: Pretty much — I may be from the Technology Division, but my areas of expertise are Fragmentum and Stellarons. And you can’t remain confined to the lab if you want to make a name for yourself in these fields.
  • [Trailblazer] You didn’t seem to worry much about Gepard before?
    • Serval: Not true. He’s my little brother. And no matter what, as his big sister, I will always be worrying about him.
    • Serval: It’s just that I’ve always thought every Landau has their own drive. And my brother’s really good at martial arts… I convinced myself that I wouldn’t have to worry about him.
    • Serval: But seeing how the Fragmentum attacks have been developing has changed my mind…
    • Serval: …When he comes back next time, I’ll definitely bring Pela along and we’ll back him up.
  • [Trailblazer] Thanks so much.
    • Serval: No big deal! Most Landau members work their way into military careers, and we’re used to this.
    • Serval: It’s worth our time as long as you’re making valuable gains from your trips to the Fragmentum.

Trascrizione Integrale dei Dialoghi (IT)

  • Serval: Tieni molto a lei, eh?

  • Serval: Lasciate fare a me.

Sei ancora di piantone all’ingresso principale?
  • Franz: Beh, ecco, io…
  • Serval: Ma ti pare! È una questione riservata alla Divisione Tecnologica. Perché mai dovrebbero riferirla a voi sentinelle? Avanti, facci passare.
  • Franz: D’accordo, ecco alcuni pass temporanei… Ah, ricordatevi di restituirmeli appena avrete finito!
  • Serval: Grazie, Franz!
  • Franz: No, no, ti prego!

  • Serval: Visto?

  • Serval: Vedete quel gigantesco ponte meccanico a ingranaggi laggiù? Una volta superato quello, vi troverete dritti all‘“inferno”.
  • [Trailblazer] E cosa c’è esattamente dall’altra parte?
  • [Trailblazer] Gli Architects venerano Qlipoth. Credono davvero all’inferno?
    • Serval: Ci credono, eccome.
  • Serval: Se vogliamo avanzare verso nord, dovremo attraversare quell’inferno. Siete pronti?
    • March 7th: Ben detto! Questa me la segno e la riutilizzo!
  • [Trailblazer] Non è mai troppo tardi per scappare…
    • March 7th: Ma guarda quanta strada abbiamo fatto! Non vorrai mica tirarti indietro proprio adesso?!
  • Serval: Haha, e allora andiamo!

  • Serval: Sì, ma come mai me lo chiedi all’improvviso?
  • Serval: Maledizione, devono aver disattivato l’Energy Hub principale!

  • Silvermane Guard: Sissignore, ho verificato personalmente con Franz all’ingresso.
  • Dunn: S—Serval!?
  • Dunn: …Ma state scherzando?!
  • Silvermane Guard: …N—No, signore! Assolutamente no!

Ehm! Ti trovo in ottima forma.
  • March 7th: Oh? Suoni anche tu il rock ‘n’ roll? Che forza!
  • Dan Heng: Piacere di conoscerti.
  • [Trailblazer] È un piacere vederti.
    • Dunn: Oh, salve a voi…
  • Dunn: Ma senza troppi convenevoli… come posso esservi utile?
  • Serval: Uh… stamattina? Sì, esatto! Oggi era di pattuglia in città, no? È passato all’officina a chiedermi il favore.
  • Dunn: …
  • Dunn: sigh Non sei cambiata affatto, Serval…

  • Serval: Perdonami, Dunn… È ora di un piccolo riposino.
  • Dan Heng: È soltanto svenuto, non temere.
  • Seele: Uno sciocco testardo… ma forte. A Wildfire mancano persone come lui.
  • Serval: Questo è l’allarme generale d’intrusione nemica!

  • Serval: Siamo dentro!
  • March 7th: È aperto! Oh, grazie, grazie, grazie di cuore, Dunn!
  • Serval: Datemi qualche istante…
Trovato finalmente!
  • Serval: Fatto, ho ripristinato l’alimentazione primaria!

  • Serval: Energia ripristinata… sistemi online… certificazione autorizzata… dai, dai, muoviti!
  • Serval: 40%… 65%… 85%… 100%!
  • March 7th: Non ci hai ancora fatto caso?

  • Gepard: Serval… sei davvero tu.
  • Serval: Aspetta, Gepard! Ascoltami—
Cammina piano e mettiti dietro di me.
  • Gepard: …
  • Serval: Concedimi solo qualche minuto, ti prego! Ti spiegherò ogni—
  • Gepard: Ora basta, Serval!
  • Serval: …!
  • Gepard: Hai forse dimenticato dove ci troviamo?!
  • Gepard: So cos’è lo Stellaron!
Soltanto…
  • Gepard: Guardie, schieratevi! Dichiarate queste persone in arresto!
  • [Trailblazer] Ben detto, Serval!
  • [Trailblazer] Pensaci bene, Gepard!

  • Gepard: …
  • Seele: Questo tizio… sa decisamente come farsi valere in battaglia.
  • Serval: È testardo esattamente quanto me.
  • Serval: Adesso basta, Gepard! Guardati attorno: sei rimasto l’ultimo in piedi!
  • Serval: Gepard… fratello mio. Ti prego, guarda in faccia la realtà.
  • Serval: Anche se non credi a questi stranieri, dovresti credere a me… O forse ho sprecato la tua fiducia? In tal caso, credi almeno a Bronya!
  • Gepard: …Lady Bronya?

  • Seele: Devo ammetterlo: avevo parecchi… pregiudizi… sulle Silvermane Guards.
Facile a dirsi.

    • Serval: Hehe, sto scherzando!

  • [Trailblazer] Per Bronya!
  • [Trailblazer] Per Belobog!
  • [Trailblazer] Per la pace cosmica!
  • Serval: Arrivano!
  • Gepard: Serrate i ranghi!

(Violenta battaglia contro le ondate del Fragmentum)

  • March 7th: …Ma quanti diavolo sono?!
  • Seele: Più ne arrivano, più ne abbatto! Non sono nulla: tenete la linea!

(Dopo aver respinto la prima avanguardia)

  • Gepard: Argh…
Ora tocca a voi!
  • Serval: Trovate quello Stellaron prima che Cocolia realizzi cosa sta succedendo!
  • [Trailblazer] Non possiamo abbandonarti qui!
    • Seele: Serval ha ragione, Trailblazer. Muoviamoci!
  • [Trailblazer] Non ti deluderemo!
  • [Trailblazer] All’attaccoooo!
  • Serval: Ehi March!
  • March 7th: Non dire altro!

  • Himeko: Ti stai forse annoiando quassù, Welt? Ti capisco…

  • [Trailblazer] Come sta Gepard?
  • [Trailblazer] Avevi già combattuto in prima linea prima d’ora?
